Coverage for in-person visits at our Asheville office and for telehealth appointments depends on your plan, and we confirm both when we check your benefits. If you do not have insurance, or prefer not to use it, we offer self-pay rates that we share with you up front.

What to Have Ready When You Call
A quick call is all it takes. Having a few details on hand helps us check your coverage faster and get you scheduled sooner.
Please have the following ready:
- Insurance card: The front and back of your card, including your member ID and the behavioral health phone number.
- Policy holder: The name and date of birth of the person who holds the policy, if it is not you.
- Photo ID: A driver license or other government ID for your first visit.
- Medication list: Any medications you take now, including doses, so your provider has the full picture.
- Referrals: Some plans require a referral from a primary care provider. We can tell you if yours does.
- Questions: Anything you want to know about costs, copays, or deductibles. Just ask, we are happy to explain.
- If we don’t work with your plan, we’ll tell you up front and help you think through your options, including self-pay.
